Dirty Rice
List of Ingredients
2 pounds of chopped chicken gizzards
3 pounds of ground chuck
1/2 pound of Italian sausage
2 sticks of margarine
2 cups of chopped celery
4 bunches of green onion, chopped
1 green pepper
4 tablespoons of Worchestershire sauce
A dash of Tobasco
2 cloves of garlic
Lawry's Season Salt, black pepper and Accent, to taste
2 cans of cream of mushroom soup
2 cans of cream of chicken soup
2 1/2 pounds of rice
Recipe
Combine the gizzards, ground chuck, sausage, margarine, celery, green onion,green pepper and seasonings and simmer 4 hours. Combine the soups and set aside. Cover the rice with cold water and bring to a boil; steam for 1 hour.
Combine the meat mixture, soups and rice and eat.
