Gulliver's Creamed Corn

2 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. flour
1 c. cream (heavy or light)
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 to 1 tsp salt
1 16 oz. package frozen corn
Recipe
Melt butter in a medium saucepan. Slowly add flour, stirring until there are no lumps. Slowly add cream, stirring constantly. Bring mixture to not-quite-a-boil. Add sugar, salt, and corn. Heat until corn is hot and cream sauce is bubbly. To thin, add a bit of milk or cream. Serves 4-6.
