    Bechamel Sauce

    List of Ingredients





    a basic white sauce made modern
    4 tablespoons butter or oil
    4 tablespoons flour
    1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
    white pepper, as desired
    1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
    2 cups milk

    Recipe




    In batter bowl, combine butter and flour. Microwave on high 30 seconds. Whisk in flour and seasonings. Microwave on high 30 seconds. Whisk in milk. Microwave on high 2 minutes. Whisk well. Microwave 2 minutes and whisk. Repeat as needed to thicken sauce.
