    1 c. salad oil
    1 c. finely chopped celery
    1 c. finely chopped green pepper
    2 c. finely chopped onion
    2 tbsp. minced celery

    Recipe



    Add tomatoes, puree and seasonings. Simmer uncovered for 2 hours. Remove from heat. Add 2 pounds of lightly sauteed ground beef, drained of excess fat. Makes 1 gallon. This recipe is great for canning. Omit hamburger until ready to use when canning.
