1/4 cup fresh mushrooms -- sliced
24 tortellini, frozen or use recipe following
Tortellini Filling
1/2 cup cooked chicken -- finely chopped
1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese -- grated
water
Tortellini
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 eggs
1/4 teaspoon salt
Recipe
Put first 8 ingredients into large saucepan. Bring to boil. Cover and simmer for 20 mins.
Add mushrooms and tortellini. Return to boil. Cover and simmer for 15 mins or until tortellini tests done.
Tortellini Filling: Mix together, adding just enough water to hold together. Use to fill tortellini.
Tortellini: Mix together to form stiff dough. Divide in half. Roll 1/2 dough very thinly on lightly floured surface. Cut into 2 inch circles. Put 1/4 tsp of filling on each, moisten edges with water, fold over and press to seal. Pull ends together away from curved side. Use a touch of water to seal. These freeze well.
