    Fried Corn

    List of Ingredients





    4 cups white corn scraped off the cob (milk the cob after scraping, by running the edge of the knife down the cob; retain the milk)
    4 slices bacon, fried and crumbled; retain grease
    1 cup half and half
    2 tablespoons butter
    salt and pepper to taste


    Recipe




    Add corn and milk from corn to bacon grease. Add salt and pepper to taste. Fry over low heat, stirring frequently, 4-5 minutes. Add half and half and butter. Stir. Cover and cook to desired tenderness. Sprinkle with crumbled bacon and serve.
