48 ounces canned black beans, drained, juice reserved
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cumin
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 cup olive oil
Recipe
In food processor, process beans until roughly chopped. Add bean juice to adjust consistency. Mixture should be slightly creamy and moist. Add remaining ingredients. Put in heavy-bottomed pot and bring to 165 degrees over low heat, stirring regularly to prevent sticking on bottom.
Makes about10 servings.
