    List of Ingredients





    1 lb. mushrooms
    1 medium onion, thinly sliced
    2 tbsp. butter
    1 tbsp. lemon juice
    1 tbsp. flour
    1 cup sour cream
    Chopped fresh dill to taste
    Salt, pepper to taste

    Recipe




    Sauté mushrooms and onions in butter and lemon juice. Stir in flour. Cook slowly, stirring for 1 minute.

    Add sour cream, dill, salt, and pepper. Cook and stir for about 10 minutes. Serve warm. Can be served on small toasts.

    Poster's Notes:
    Lemon juice keeps mushrooms from turning dark. Mushrooms are a staple in Russian cooking.
