List of Ingredients
- 1 quart strawberries
- 3/4 cup water
- 4 cups sugar
- 1 box Sure-Jell
Instructions
- Thoroughly crush strawberries in a large bowl, one layer at a time.
- Measure sugar; add to fruit and mix well.
- Combine 3/4 cup water and Sure-Jell in sauce pan.
- Bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
- Stir into fruit mixture-continue stirring for 3 more minutes.
- Quickly ladle into jars.
- Cover at once with tight lids.
NO PARRAFIN IS NECESSARY
- Let set at room temperature, takes up to 24 hours, then store in freezer.
- For use within 3 weeks, may be stored in the refrigerator.
