Curried Tomato Bean Dip

Recipe Introduction
Makes 2 1/2 cups
List of Ingredients
1 (1 lb.) can pinto beans, rinsed and drained or 2 cups cooked beans
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 heaping T. chopped onion
3/4 t. ground cumin
3/4 t. curry powder
3/4 t. garlic powder
1/2 c. plain nonfat yogurt (nonfat sour cream?)
Recipe
In a blender container, combine all ingredients, except yogurt. Blend until smooth. Spoon mixture into a bowl and stir in yogurt, mixing well. Chill.
Serve with taco chips or veggie dippers.
Serve-again hint: The leftovers are delicous heated (in a saucepan or in a microwave) and spooned over rice or onto a baked potato.
