    Can of Bumble Bee Salmon

    Recipe Introduction


    Makes 4 or 5 servings

    **Substitute egg white for whole egg for low fat and low cholesterol version. (I use a fat free egg substitute)

    List of Ingredients




    1 can (14.75 oz.) Salmon (Bumble Bee or your favorite)
    1 egg slightly beaten (I use an egg substitute)
    1/2 cup each:
    chopped onion,
    finely chopped green pepper,
    bread crumbs (can also be fresh and/or whole wheat)
    1 T. lemon juice
    1 t. grated lemon peel
    1/2 t. rosemary, crushed
    1/8 t. pepper

    Recipe



    Drain salmon; flake. Combine ingredients. Mix well.
    Form into 4 or 5 patties.
    Pan-fry, in small amount of vegetable oil or spray pan with canola oil cooking spray, until lightly browned on both sides.
    Serve on toasted hamburger buns. Top with favorite condiments.
