    Salmon or Tuna Cheese Loaf

    Source of Recipe

    Elsie Sturgeon

    List of Ingredients

6 slices of bread, cut into triangles
1 can (6 3/4 oz.) salmon or one can tuna, drain but reserve liquid
    3/4 c. shredded cheddar cheese (I use low-fat or fat-free)
2 eggs slightly beaten or egg sub. equiv.
    1/4 t. salt
    1/8 t. paprika
    dash cayenne
    1 t. minced onions
    1 1/2 c. milk

    Recipe

Spray baking dish with butter flavored spray, place half of the bread in bottom, drain salmon/tuna (reserving the liquid), flake salmon/tuna over bread. Sprinkle cheese over salmon/tuna and top with remaining bread.

Combine salmon/tuna liquid, eggs, salt, onion, paprika, cayenne and milk.

Pour over the ingredients in dish and let stand 30 minutes.

Bake at 350 degrees about 1 hour or until well browned and puffed.
