BBQ Beans and Rice

Recipe Introduction
Serves:4 -- Tasty additions are broccoli, mushrooms, zucchini, carrots, or celery.
List of Ingredients
1 c. chopped onion
1 c. chopped green bell pepper
3 cloves garlic, crushed
2 1/2 c. cooked brown or white rice.
1 1 pound can pinto beans, rinsed and drained (or 2 cups cooked beans)
1 8 oz. can salt-free (or regular) tomato sauce
1/4 c. BBQ sauce
Recipe
Heat sprayed nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add onion, green pepper and garlic. Cook, stirring frequently, until vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients to skillet. Reduce heat slightly. Cook, stirring frequently, until mixture is heated through.
Serve again hint: Heat the leftovers and roll them in a tortilla with lettuce and tomato for an unusual BBQ burrito.
