    Hot Artichoke and Spinach Dip

    8 ounces light cream cheese
    14 ounces artichoke hearts -- drained and chopped
    1/2 cup frozen spinach -- chopped
    1/4 cup fat-free mayonnaise
    1/4 cup parmesan cheese
    1/4 cup romano cheese -- * see note
    1 clove garlic -- finely minced
    1/2 teaspoon basil
    1/4 cup mozzarella cheese
    1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
    salt and pepper -- to taste

    Recipe



    1. Allow cream cheese to come to room temperature.
    2. Cream together mayo, Parmesan and Romano cheeses, garlic, basil and garlic salt.
    3. Make sure spinach is well drained.
    4. Add the artichokes and spinach until well blended. Place in a container until you are ready to use.
    5. Spray pie pan with non-stick cooking spray, pour in dip and top with mozzarella.
    6. Bake at 350 degrees F for 25 minutes or until top is browned. Serve with toasted bread.
