My Moma's Fruitcake

Recipe Introduction
This is the fruit cake I grew up on! (It was never dry)
List of Ingredients
1 cup Wesson oil
1 ½ cups sugar
3 cups S.R. flour
1 cup orange juice
4 large eggs
1 table S. cake spice or cinnamon nutmeg
1 cup red cherries
1 cup green cherries
½ lb. Pineapple
2 cups blond raisins
1 cup black walnuts
3 cups peacans
Recipe
Mix Wesson oil, sugar & spices
Add 2 cup flour
Bring orange juice to a boil
Pour boiling orange juice into mixture
Add 1 cup of flour and let cool ½ hour
Add 4 eggs then add fruit and nuts
Bake at 275 for 3 hrs.
Remove pan from oven,
Let stand in pan for 15 minutes turn out.
Put pan of water under cake while baking
(I was told that pan of water was very important)
