Guacamole

List of Ingredients
- 3 medium avocados
- juice of 1 lime
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
- 2 medium Roma tomatoes, diced
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- cayenne pepper
Instructions
- Cut avocados in half and remove pits. Scoop out flesh into a medium bowl.
- Add lime juice and salt; mash avocado flesh until smooth, or to preferred texture.
- Mix in onion, cilantro, tomatoes, and garlic. Stir in cayenne pepper if desired.
- Refrigerate for 1 hour for best flavour, or serve immediately.
Final Comments
I like to serve this as a dip with tortilla chips. Makes about 3 cups. I've kept this in the fridge for up to 3 days and it still tastes great.
