Crock-Pot Beef Stew
This recipe is from the book that came with my Rival Crock-Pot. It is a very good cold weather recipe.
List of Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds stew beef, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/4 cup flour
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 1/2 cups beef broth
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 3 carrots, sliced
- 3 potatoes, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 stalk celery, sliced
- 2 tsp Kitchen Bouquet (optional)
Instructions
- Place meat in Crock-Pot.
- Mix flour, salt and pepper and pour over meat; stir to coat.
- Add remaining ingredients and stir to mix.
- Cover and cook on Low 8 to 10 hours. (High: 4 to 5 hours).
- Stir stew thoroughly before serving.
