Jenn's Mexican Chili

List of Ingredients
- 1 to 1 1/2 lb lean ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 1 green pepper, diced
- 1 to 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 - 14 oz can crushed tomatoes
- 1 - 10 oz can tomato soup
- 1 - 12 oz can kernal corn
- 1 - 19 oz can black beans, rinsed and drained
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 to 2 Tbsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- Topppings:
- fresh cilantro
- grated cheddar cheese
- sour cream
- tortilla chips
- green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Brown ground beef, onion, celery, green pepper and garlic together in large pan.
- Add remaining ingredients, except the toppings, and simmer for 30 minutes. Add some chopped, fresh cilantro about 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
- Serve on a bed of broken tortilla chips and top with grated cheese, sour cream, green onions and chopped, fresh cilantro leaves.
