    1 qt fresh raspberries -- OR
    24 oz frozen raspberries
    2 cups white wine vinegar
    sugar

    Recipe



    Combine the raspberries and vinegar in a glass or ceramic bowl. Cover and
    let stand 24 hours, stirring once or twice. Strain, pressing down on the
    berries to remove as much juice as possible. Let the berries sit in the
    strainer for at least 1 hour to catch as much juice as possible. measure
    the strained juice and combine in a nonreactive saucepan with equal amounts
    of sugar. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for 10 mintues. Cool.
    Pour into a jar with a tight fitting lid and refrigerate. When ready to
    serve, add 2-3 tbsp of the shrub to each 8 oz glass of ice water.
