2- packages (10-ounces each) frozen broccoli spears, thawed and
cut up
1- can (10-3/4-ounces) condensed cream of celery soup
1-1/4- cups grated sharp cheddar cheese, divided
1/4- cup minced green onions
1- cup crushed saltine crackers or potato chips
Recipe
Grease crock-pot / slow-cooker. In large bowl, combine broccoli, celery soup, 1 cup cheese and onions. Pour into crock-pot/slow-cooker.
Sprinkle top with crushed crackers, then with remaining cheese. Cover and cook on LOW 5-6 hours or on HIGH 2-1/2- to 3 hours. Makes 4-6 servings.
NOTE: If desired, casserole may be spooned into a baking dish and garnished with additional grated cheese and broken potatoe chips; bake 5-10 minutes in 400 degree oven.
