In a soup pot, brown the ground beef and onion over medium-high heat for 5
to 8 minutes; drain. Add the remaining ingredients, reduce the heat to
medium, and cook for 15 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.
Note: To be truly burger-authentic, serve each bowl of soup with a dollop
each of ketchup and mustard, and a toasted sesame seed bun on the side.
And for cheeseburger soup, add a sprinkle of your favorite shredded
cheeses like Cheddar, Monterey Jack, or Swiss.
