    • 2 packages ladyfingers
    • 1 package cream cheese,softened
    • 1 cup plus 1 tsp sugar,divided
    • 2 tsp vanilla,divided
    • 2 tsp lemon juice
    • 1 tsp grated lemon peel
    • 2 cups whipping cream
    • 1 can cherry pie filling


    Instructions


    1. PLace a layer of ladyfingers on the bottom and around the sides of an ungreased 9inch springform pan.
    2. In a large mixing bowl,beat the cream cheese,1 cup sugar and 1 tsp vanilla until smooth.
    3. Add lemon juice and peel; mix well.
    4. In a small bowl,beat cream until it begins to thicken. Add remaining sugar,vanilla;beat until stiff peaks form. Fold in cream cheese mixture.
    5. Spread half over crust. Arrange remaining ladyfingers in a spoke pattern over top. Evenly spread with the remaining cream cheese mixture.Top with pie filling.
    6. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
