    • 1 cup sweetened flaked coconut
    • 2 drops food coloring any color
    • 1 prepared ready made store bought round angel food cake
    • 1 cup thawed cool whip
    • 3 cups halved strawberries


    Instructions


    1. Toss coconut with food coloring until evenly tinted; set aside.
    2. Place angel food cake on large serving plate; frost top and sides with cool whip and sprinkle with coconut.
    3. Cut cake into 8 slices leaving all slices in place. Then carefully pull out cake slices and separate slighty to resemble the petals of an open flower.
    4. Spoon strawberries into the center of the flower.
