    List of Ingredients


    • 1/3 cup green pepper, diced
    • 2 tbsp onion,chopped
    • 1/3 cup melted margarine
    • 2 tbsp flour
    • 1 cup milk
    • 3/4 cup fine cracker crumbs
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 1 tsp sugar
    • 1/8 tsp pepper
    • 2 eggs,well beaten
    • 2 cups fresh corn
    • 1/4 cup margarine


    Instructions


    1. Saute pepper,onion in margarine. Blend in flour.
    2. Stir in milk and cook until medium thick. Add salt,sugar and ground black pepper.
    3. Combine eggs and corn and stir into the sauce. Pour into a buttered 9 inch pie plate,sprinkle with fine cracker crumbs.
    4. Blend melted margarine with remaining crumbs and sprinkle over top.
    5. Bake in preheated oven for 1 1/2 hours or until done.
