List of Ingredients
- 1/3 cup green pepper, diced
- 2 tbsp onion,chopped
- 1/3 cup melted margarine
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 cup milk
- 3/4 cup fine cracker crumbs
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 2 eggs,well beaten
- 2 cups fresh corn
- 1/4 cup margarine
Instructions
- Saute pepper,onion in margarine. Blend in flour.
- Stir in milk and cook until medium thick. Add salt,sugar and ground black pepper.
- Combine eggs and corn and stir into the sauce. Pour into a buttered 9 inch pie plate,sprinkle with fine cracker crumbs.
- Blend melted margarine with remaining crumbs and sprinkle over top.
- Bake in preheated oven for 1 1/2 hours or until done.
