    • 5 squares unsweetened chocolate
    • 2/3 cup margarine or butter
    • 1 1/3 cups sugar
    • 2 tsp vanilla
    • 3 eggs
    • 1 cup flour
    • 1 cup chopped nuts
    • 1 cup ssemi sweet chocolate chips,if desired
    • Chocolate Frosting:
    • 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate
    • 2 tbsp margarine
    • 2 cups powdered sugar
    • 3 tbsp hot water


    Instructions


    1. Brownie; Heat oven to 350. Grease square 9x9x2 inches.
    2. Heat chocolate and margarine over low heat,stirring frequently,until melted, remove from heat.
    3. Cool slightly. Beat sugar,vanilla and eggs in large bowl on high speed for 5 min. Beat in chocolate mixture on low speed.
    4. Beat in flour just until blended. Stir in nuts and chocolate chips.
    5. Spread batter in pan. Bake at 350. For 40 to 45 min or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool completely. Spread with frosting.
    6. Frosting; Heat chocolate and margarine in a saucepan over low heat until melted;remove from heat.
    7. Stir in sugar and water until smooth.
