Spaghetti on the Lean Side

List of Ingredients
- 1 package Schneiders Garlic or Italian Lean Links Sausages
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 green pepper, diced
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 can tomatoes
- 1 can tomato or spaghetti sauce
- 1/4 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 3/4 pound spaghetti
Instructions
- Cook scneiders sausages following package directions.
- While sausages are cooking prepare tomatoe/spaghetti sauce and cook pasta.
- In large, heavy saucepan heat oil over medium high heat; add onion, green pepper and sliced mushrooms, cook until just tender stirring occasionally.
- Gently blend in canned tomatoes with juice, tomato or spaghetti sauce and Worcestershire sauce, bring to a boil; reduce heat, cover and simmer 20 min, stirring occasionally.
- Cut cooked sauages into 1 inch rounds add to tomato/spaghetti sauce continue to simmer 8 to 10 min until hot through.
- Meanwhile in a large saucepan of boiling water, cook spaghetti drain and rinse.
- Serve prepared sauce spooned over cooked spaghetti. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
