    Beer Barbeque Marinade for Kebobs

    Source of Recipe

    Internet

    List of Ingredients

1/2 bottle of beer (cook's choice, but honey lager makes a good marinade)
1 T olive (or vegetable) oil
4 t Teriyaki or Worcestershire sauce
dash pepper sauce or cayenne (more or less to taste)
    1 clove garlic, minced
2 lbs Lean meat, skinless chicken, or large shrimp

    Recipe

Combine marinade ingredients and mix well.

Prepare meat in bite-size chunks for skewering (if
using a combination of meats, split the marinade so
the different meats don't blend flavors).

Add meat to marinade, stirring gently to ensure full
coverage. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours. Skewer
meat, adding vegetable pieces if desired. Salt &
pepper to taste. Discard the marinade. Broil skewers
    on the barbeque until done.

(Variation: Substitute peanut oil for olive oil and/or
add a dash of sesame oil for nutty taste. Substitute
Oyster Sauce for Teriyaki/Worcestershire, add powdered
ginger to taste. Garnish with sesame seeds)
