Baked Pork Chops

- 4 Pork Chops
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- 1 pound Cooking apples
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 oz butter
- 1 tbsp Chopped fresh rosemary
- 1/4 pint stock
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400.
- Season chops with salt and pepper. Heat oil in a flameproof casserole and brown chops for 2 min on each side.
- Peel,core and slice apples. Arrange in casserole around the chops and dot with the butter.
- Sprinkle with rosemary,add stock (made with 1/2 stock cube) and cover casserole.
- Bake in center of oven for about 30 min removing lid for the last 10 min.
