Maple glazed Short Ribs

- 3 pound short ribs
- 1 onion ,sliced
- 1 stalk celery with leaves, roughly chopped
- 10 black peppercorns
- 1 cup maple syrup
- 3 tbsp cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp chili sauce
- 1 small onion,finely chopped
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp dry mustard
- pinch pepper
Instructions
- Place short ribs,sliced onion,celery and peppercorns in large saucepan. Cover with water. Cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until meat is tender,about 1 hour. Drain ribs,reserving cooking liquid.
- Arrange short ribs in lightly oiled shallow roasting pan. Combine remaining ingredients and spoon over ribs,turning to coat all sides. Bake in 350 oven for 30 min or until glazed, occasionally turning and spooning sauce over ribs.
