    List of Ingredients


    • 1 1/2 pound beef fillet
    • 1/3 cup butter
    • 1 onion,sliced
    • 12 muchrooms,sliced
    • 1/4 cup flour
    • 1 tbsp tomato paste
    • 1 cup beef broth
    • salt to taste
    • freshly ground black pepper
    • 1/2 cup sour cream
    • 1 tbsp finely chopped parsley


    Instructions


    1. Cut beef into strips.
    2. In a large skillet,melt 2 tbsp butter. Cook onion for 4 min or until tender. Remove to plate.
    3. Cook beef,in batches until browned.Remove.Add remaining butter cook mushrooms for 2 min. Remove.
    4. Stir flour into pan drippings,then tomato paste. Stir in broth until smooth. Return steak,mushrooms and onion to pan,cook just to heat through.
    5. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
    6. Transfer to warm serving dish;gently stir in sour cream,creating a marbled effect.
    7. Sprinkle with chopped parsley.
