Meatball and Vegetable Casserole

List of Ingredients
- Meatballs;
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
- 1 tbsp chopped onion
- 1 tbsp chopped green pepper
- thyme,mace,sage,salt,pepper to taste
- Vegetables;
- 1 cup sliced celery
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup chopped green pepper
- 1 1/2 cups chopped carrots
- 1 -9 oz can tomatoes
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients and shape into 12 meatballs of equal size. Broil until brown and place in a casserole.
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Combine the remaining vegetables and pour over the meatballs in the casserole.
- Bake, covered in the oven for at least 45 minutes. Serve with rice, noodles or mashed potatoes.
