- 2 pounds ground beef
- 2/3 cup dry breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 3/4 tsp dried marjoram
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 2 slices deli sliced Swis Cheese,divided
- Additional chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375. Coat shallow roasting pan with cooking spray. in a bowl combine beef, breadcrumbs,eggs,parsley,marjoram,garlic powder,salt and pepper flakes.
- Transfer mixture to pan; shape into 10x4 inch loaf. Make a deep well in center of loaf.
- Lenghtwise fold ham slices to fit into well. Fold 3 slices of cheese over ham. Press sides of loaf up and over ham and cheese,pressing ot seal.
- Bake for about 55 min. Place reamining cheese slices on top of meatloaf. Bake until cheese is melted,3-5 min.
- Let stand 10 min before slicing.Sprinkle with parsley.
