    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 pound round steak, trimmed
    • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
    • 1/4 cup chopped onion
    • 1 garlic clove,minced
    • 1 beef bouillon cube
    • 3/4 cup boiling water
    • 1/8 tsp pepper
    • 1 can stewed tomatoes
    • 1 medium green pepper,cut into rings
    • 1/4 cup cold water
    • 2 tbsp cornstarch
    • 2 tbsp soy sauce
    • Hot cooked noodles


    Instructions


    1. Cut meat into 2inch strips; brown in a skillet in oil for 10 min. Add onion and garlic;cook for 3-4 min.
    2. Dissolve bouillon water; pour into skillet. Sprinkle meat with pepper.
    3. Cover and simmer for 35-40 min or until meat is tender. Add tomatoes and green pepper; cover and simmer for 10 min. Combine cold water,cornstarch and soy sauce;stir into broth.
    4. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 min. Serve over noodles.
