    • 1 roasting chicken (6-7 pounds)
    • 1 tsp paprika
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 2 tbsp butter or margarine, melted
    • 1 tbsp hot pepper sauce,such as tabasco
    • 1 tbsp vinegar
    • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
    • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 350. Place chicken on rack in roasting pan; sprinkle with paprika and salt.
    2. Roast until meat thermometer inserted reads 180. for about 2 hours and 30 min.
    3. Meanwhile in small bowl combine butter,hot pepper sauce,vinegar,garlic powder and cayenne;brush over chicken several times during last 20 min. of cooking time.

    4. Let chicken stand 10 min. before serving.
