    List of Ingredients


    • 1 Tbsp Butter or Margarine
    • 1 Onion, Chopped
    • 4 Cups Sliced Mushrooms
    • 1/4 Cup All-purpose flour
    • 3 Cups Chicken Stock
    • 1 Bay leaf
    • Pinch Dried Thyme
    • 1/3 Cup 2% Evaporated Milk
    • 1/4 Cup Sliced green onions


    Instructions


    1. In a large heavey saucepan, melt butter over medium heat; cook onion, stirring often, for 3 minutes. Add mushrooms; cook for about 5 minutes or until tender and juicy. Sprinkle with flour;cook, stirring ,for 1 minute or until juice is absorbed.
    2. Stir in chicken stock,bay leaf and thyme until blended. Bring ot boil; reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
    3. Stir in milk;return to simmer. Discard bay leaf. Ladle into warmed bowls;sprinkle with green onions.
