    This is a great side dish to any meal.


    List of Ingredients


    • 8 cups sliced carrots
    • 2 medium onions,sliced
    • 5 tbsp butter or margarine,divided
    • 1 can condensed cream of celery soup
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 1/4 tsp pepper
    • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
    • 1 cup seasoned croutons


    Instructions


    1. Place carrots in a saucepan and cover with water; bring to a boil. Cook until crisp-tender.
    2. Meanwhile, in a skillet, saute onions in 3 tbsp butter until tender. Stir in soup,salt,pepper and cheese.
    3. Drain carrots; add to the onion mixture. Pour into a greased 13inchx9inchx2inch baking dish.
    4. Sprinkle with croutons.Melt remaining butter; drizzle over croutons.
    5. Bake, uncovered,at 350. for 20-25 min.
