    Creamy Garlic Potatoes with Peas

    • 2 1/2 pounds potatoes,peeled and cut into 1 inch pieces
    • 2 cloves garlic
    • 1 cup milk
    • 1/4 cup butter
    • 1 1/4 tsp salt
    • 1/2 cup frozen peas


    Instructions


    1. IN pot combine potatoes with enough water to cover;add gaarlic. Bring to boil.
    2. Reduce heat to simmer;cook until potatoes are tender,15-20 min. Drain.
    3. Return potatoes to pot.Heat milk with butter until butter is melted and milk is warm.
    4. Add milk mixture and salt to potatoes; mash until smooth.
    5. Heat peas according to package directions;stir into potatoes.
