Creamy Garlic Potatoes with Peas

- 2 1/2 pounds potatoes,peeled and cut into 1 inch pieces
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup frozen peas
Instructions
- IN pot combine potatoes with enough water to cover;add gaarlic. Bring to boil.
- Reduce heat to simmer;cook until potatoes are tender,15-20 min. Drain.
- Return potatoes to pot.Heat milk with butter until butter is melted and milk is warm.
- Add milk mixture and salt to potatoes; mash until smooth.
- Heat peas according to package directions;stir into potatoes.
