List of Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup shortening
- 1 Teaspoon vanilla
- 1 Cup sugar
- 1 Egg
- 2 Squares melted chocolate
- 1 Teaspoon salt
- 1/2 Teaspoon baking soda
- 2 Cups flour
- 3/4 Cup milk
- Confectioners sugar
- Peppermint Schnapps
Instructions
- Cream shortening, vanilla and sugar. Add egg, chocolate, salt and flour. Gradually add milk.
- Drop on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 F. for 10-15 minutes or until firm.
- Frost with confectioners sugar mixed with peppermint Schnapps to drizzle consistency.
- Frost after cookes are cool.
- Makes approx. 24 cookies
