    Seven Layer Nacho Dip

    List of Ingredients




    Avocado—mashed with a little lemon juice
    Sour cream—use nonfat or lite if desired
    Salsa—the chunky kind, drained very well
    Beans—canned pintos, drained and rinsed
    Scallions—chopped
    Shredded cheese—use regular, lite, or fat free
    Jalapeno slices

    The layers are from first in (bottom) to last (top)

    If you don't want it spicy, eliminate the jalapenos and make it a six layer dip.
    Use a glass baking dish to serve so you can see the layers, and for a 9x9 square , use one avocado, 16 oz. sour cream, 1 jar of salsa, 1 can of beans, 1 or 2 scallions, 8 oz. shredded cheese, and a small can/jar of jalapeno slices. You can double or triple the recipe, and add more of your favorite ingredients. You can also add seasonings— like garlic salt on the sour cream layer.
    Layer pretty thick so you can see the distinct layers in the glass dish. Make sure to bring a spoon since it's easier to spoon this one onto your chip.
