Cornbread Bean Casserole
List of Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
2 Tbs chili powder
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp garlic powder
1 can tomato soup (10.75 ounce)
1 can ranch style beans ( 15 ounce)
1 package of honey sweet or Mexican style cornbread
1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
Recipe
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Brown meat and onion, drain. Add next 5 ingredients, blend well. Add tomato soup and beans.
In a medium bowl mix cornbread. (follow directions on package). Pour into 2 qt greased casserole. Put cornbread batter on top of meat mixture. Bake for about 20 - 25 minutes or until the cornbread is golden brown.Top with shredded cheddar cheese and return to oven until the cheese melts.
