Herb Popovers

2 egg whites
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup skim milk
1/2 teaspoon dried basil leaves
1/4 teaspoon onion salt
Heat oven to 450F.
Spray six 6-ounce custard cups with nonstick cooking spray. Place all ingredients in blender. Cover and blend on medium speed about 15 seconds, stopping blender to scrape sides if necessary, just until smooth. Fill custard cups about half full.
Bake 20 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 350F. Bake 15 to 20 minutes longer or until deep golden brown. Immediately remove from cups. Serve hot.
Yield: 6 servings.
