    Oldfashionedliving.com

    1 medium sweet onion, minced
    1 green onion, minced
    9 Tbs butter, cold
    1 cup cold milk
    3 cups all-purpose flour
    1 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp pepper
    1 Tbs baking powder

Heat oven to 400 degrees F. Spray baking sheet or line with
parchment paper. Sauté the onions in the 1 tablespoon butter
until softened. Cool, stir in milk and set aside. Mix flour, the
baking powder, salt and pepper together. With a pastry blender
or a fork, cut in the margarine or butter until it resembles course
meal or crumbs. Add the milk/onion mixture till it's just mixed
and forms a dough. Place on a floured board and knead 10 times
gently. Roll dough 3/4 inch thick and cut into 1 1/2 inch rounds
or squares. Brush melted butter or margarine on top of biscuits.
Bake about 18 minutes until golden brown. Serve warm.
