    Sausage Bread

    1 lb Italian Sausage
    1 lb shredded mozzarella
    3/4 C parmesan cheese
    1/2 C chopped green pepper (optional)
    1/2 C chopped onion
    2 eggs lightly beaten
    2 tsp minced garlic
    1 tsp salt
    1/4 tsp pepper
    1 tsp Italian seasoning
    2 loaves of pizza dough or frozen bread dough

    Squeeze sausage out of casings and brown with the onion. Cool sausage mix slightly and add seasonings, parmesan, green pepper and mozzarella. Mix well. Add eggs to mixture and toss well to coat.

    Roll chilled dough into 2 rectangles. (NOT TOO THIN) Spread with meat mixture. Roll up long ways and seal edges by pinching. Pinch ends. Bake at 350 degrees 1/2 hour till golden brown. It will feel hard to the touch, but will soften upon standing. Serve warm with marinara sauce if desired.
