Multi-Grain Scones
List of Ingredients
1 1/4 - 1 3/4 cup whole wheat flour (depending on how grainy you want them to be)
1/4 cup 12 grain cereal mix
1/4 cup wheat germ
1 Tbs oil (optional)
1 tsp salt -optional
2 Tbs baking powder
About 1 C water
Preserves or fruit spreadRecipe
Mix dry ingredients, then stir in water just until moistened. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 min, until golden.
Serve with preserves.
These are pretty heavy - - definitely not the light and fluffy variety.
