Ham Apollo

1/4 cup chopped onion
2 T. margarine
2 T. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
1 1/2 cups milk
1 cup diced cooked ham
grated Parmesan cheese
2 cups (4 oz.) green noodles,
cooked, drained
Heat oven to 350F.
Cook onion in margarine until
tender; blend in flour &
seasonings. Gradually add milk,
stirring until thickened. Stir
in ham & 1/2 cup cheese.
Alternate layers of noodles &
sauce in 1 quart casserole; top
with additional cheese. Bake 20 minutes.
Serves 4-6
