    Scalloped Potatoes

    List of Ingredients




    4 cups potatoes, peeled, sliced thin
    1 cup onions, sliced thin
    2 Tbs. flour
    1 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp pepper
    2 Tbs. butter
    3/4 cup grated Swiss, cheddar or jack cheese
    1 1/2 cup milk
    1 cup chopped ham, optional

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine flour, salt and pepper in small bowl and set aside.
    Grease a shallow casserole dish. Place half of the potatoes in the casserole dish. Sprinkle half of the flour mixture over the potatoes and then add half of the onions, half the butter, then half the cheese. Repeat in the same order using the rest of the potatoes, flour mixture, onions, butter and cheese. Pour the milk over all. Cover and bake for 30 min. Remove the cover and bake for 45 min to 1 hour until potatoes are tender and lightly browned.

    6 servings.
