    Gooey Butter Cookies

    List of Ingredients

    1 box butter cake mix or yellow cake mix (2 layer size)
    8 ounces cream cheese softened
    1 egg
    1 stick butter
    1/4 teaspoon vanilla
    Powdered sugar
    Optional: 1 cup butterscotch chips


    Recipe

    Mix all ingredients together. Chill dough at least 2 hours. Roll into 2 inch balls and roll in powdered sugar. Flatten with fork on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Sprinkle with powdered sugar after they have cooled.

    Makes 50 cookies
