    LemonGrass Ginger Baked Salmon

    List of Ingredients




    Paste:
    1 Tbs chopped lemon grass
    1 1/2 ounces fresh ginger root, chopped
    3 large cloves garlic, chopped
    1 small red chile pepper, chopped
    3 Tbs dark sesame oil
    1 1/2 Tbs rice wine vinegar
    Salt, pepper to taste

    6 salmon fillets, 2 pounds total
    1 tablespoon dark sesame oil

    Recipe



    For the paste, put all ingredients including 1 teaspoon salt and1/4teaspoon pepper in a food processor; process to a smooth paste for about 6-8 minutes.

    Brush salmon fillets with oil, then transfer, skin side down, to a baking dish. Spread 2 tablespoons of the paste on each fillet. Cover and refrigerate 2 hours.

    Heat oven to 400°F. Bake salmon fillets until opaque throughout, about 12 minutes. Serve immediately.
