Potluck Macaroni Salad

8 ounces small elbow macaroni, uncooked
1 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons vinegar
1 teaspoon sugar
2 teaspoons prepared mustard
1/4 teaspoon celery seed
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon peppeer
1 cup Cheddar cheese, diced
1 cup cooked green peas
1/2 cup celery, diced
1/4 cup onion, minced
1/4 cup sweet pickles, chopped
Recipe
Cook macaroni according to package directions, drain. Pour cold water over macaroni and let it stand while preparing salad. In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, mustard, celery seed, salt and pepper. In a large salad bowl, combine macaroni, cheese, peas, celery, onion and pickle. Pour mayonnaise mixture over macaroni mixture, toss to blend. Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Makes 6-8 servings
