Pork Chunks in Mustard Sauce
List of Ingredients
8 boneless pork loin chops, cut in bite size pieces
2 Tbs minced fresh sage or 2 tsp dried
salt, pepper
2 Tbs butter
1 cup chicken stock or low-salt canned broth
2 Tbs pure maple syrup
2 Tbs coarse-grained mustard
Recipe
Sprinkle pork loins with 1 tablespoon of fresh or 1 teaspoon of dried sage, salt and pepper. Melt butter in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add pork and cook until browned on both sides and cooked through . Transfer pork to plate. Add broth, maple syrup, mustard and remaining sage to drippings in skillet. Boil until syrupy, scraping up browned bits, about 5 minutes. Reduce heat to low; return pork and any accumulated juices to skillet and cook just until heated through, about 3-5 minute. Serve with sauce on rice.
